Our multi-award-winning Ecocent hot water system is truly one of a kind. This innovative and versatile system recovers heat from used air and uses this to provide hot water at 60°. With an integrated heat pump and water cylinder, it can be operated as a stand-alone unit or in conjunction with other renewable technologies.
The Ecocent is a hot water solution with built in mechanical extraction ventilation (MEV), that dehumidifies wet rooms (bathrooms/kicthens etc.), whilst recycling the energy from the air to heat water in the Ecocent cylinder. The ducting is connected from the top of the unit, pulling air from the wet rooms and extracting the cold air via an exhaust duct to other rooms or outside. The Ecocent can be used in conjunction with heat pumps and MVHR.
The Ecocent can be used all year round and is extremely energy efficient, using less energy than boiling a kettle and producing an abundance of hot water at 60°C. The electricity used by the Ecocent unit powers the integrated air source heat pump (ASHP).
